Darren has been with The Laurel Company starting part-time as a teenager in the mid-'90s in the Maintenance Department. Through hard work and determination, he progressed into the Property Management Divisions in 1999.

As a Property Manager, Darren learned all phases of our Residential, Commercial, and Self-Storage Management divisions.

Darren holds his CA Salesperson Real Estate license in the State of California and is currently working towards receiving his California Brokers License.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2007 and was promoted to Chief Operations Officer for The Laurel Company and American Self Storage in the second quarter of that year.

Darren holds certifications in the fields of Fair Housing, Mold Abatement, Tenant relations and is also a member of the Santa Barbara Rental Property Association through our corporate membership.
